Dexta Wanted

Hi,
I am looking for a good dexta able to work on a 100 acre hill farm in NW Wales, to do general work inc harrowing, topping, occasional ploughing, etc. It needs to be tidy rather than show condition as it is for working. My budget is ~£1500 (but would pay more for a vg one).
Being a newbie and having heard various 'horror' stories, I'm hoping for one with a 'pedigree' that ideally is known in local vintage tractor circles.
