Early Dexta Handbrake Pawl/Lever and Bonnet stay.

Post by Wee59dexta »

Hi All,
I'm looking for the early type Dexta handbrake ratchet and pawl (I believe this is what it's called). I have the ratchet that bolts onto the side, but I don't have the wee lever.

I'm also looking for a bonnet stay?

Thanks in advance,

I got my bonnet stay from Dunlops and riveted it on, not exactly like the original but looks ok and works a treat

If no-one here has the handbrake lever you may have to resort to ringing around the scrappies, try Stuart Moores at S&K Machinery 07977 605043 but there are loads of others such as L McBride Ltd Tractors & Machinery, some are more helpful than others. I have seen complete handbrake pawl assembles for sale on eBay such as this one:

good luck
