Is my loader a "Wagner W7"?

This forum is about the tools you use to service your Fordson tractor AND about the implements you use when out in the field with Ol' Blue.

Is my loader a "Wagner W7"?

Post by LazyTRanch »

I was searching eBay for Fordson stuff, and came across some brochures for Wagner loaders. I saw the W7 and thought "hey, that looks like mine!"

Here is the photo from the eBay listing:

Here are some photos of my Blue Beast with parts of the loader visible:

To my un-informed eye, it looks very similar, but for all I know they could all look as similar (when I first saw it, I thought it was custom fabricated... shows what I know!) Was hoping someone might be familiar enough to know if it is a Wagner or not. There doesn't appear to be any prominent manufacturer markings, etc.

Thanks!
Tim

...Hey Tim, after a couple of months I found the tag. Painted over but numbers and style are still visible because they were stamped Inside right vertical support .

They used a lot of Wagner Loaders on 9N,2N,8N Ford Tractors around this area. Looks like the W-7 is a larger version. Dandy Dave!
