Does anyone know where you can get replacement seals for these ? We had one of the rams actually remade, but it cost a fair amount .. the other weeps somewhat, and I would like to just replace the seal. It has a bolt on the side to hold it in, but the cap is threaded and just screws on I believe.

Ian, Where are you?
I've had a ram rebuilt in Norfolk UK. Can give details if relevant.

Don't really want another ram rebuilt. The other one cost £300 to have done. Really was just after some new seals for the end if that was possible.

Can you not get a seal kit from the co that rebuilt your ram?
All the best,

Would think it could be worth contacting your local hydraulic fittings agent in Yellow Pages as they normally know where to get these items.

I've got an earlier version, without the ram that tips the bucket. Got a weeping ram repaired two years ago in Norfolk UK for about £25.
Aren't the 'locking bolts' bleed screws to let any air out?

the extra ram was one of our DIY modifications for attachments that needed to be tilted.
