Post by aviator »

This is related to an independent part of a Major from the forest tractor project. Coming up there is a third element, namely the whole trilogy:), but it eventually.
This is the JAPA 1700 Firewood Processor, Vm. 1995. The machine produced 100 pieces, of which 10 units were sold in Finland.
The machine has been one of the owner of a machine was used professionally. The machine has been altered, protective structures removed, the wood removed from the ram, timber lifter removed and installed in power a Perkins diesel engine.
Project is to build the machine the necessary protective structures, wood presser, a new discharge conveyor, hydraulic supply chain and dispenser equipped with a conveyor to move the skeleton trees, etc. feed conveyor. So, here it goes .. http://japa1700.blogspot.com/

So it doesn't run behind a tractor? It has its own engine?
Looks like quite a monster

Originally it was a tractor to use, but the gear had broken down after which the machine owner had changed it to work with Perkins diesel engine. Transmission is carried out in a belt mechanism.

It seems to me that it is a beauty and the beast at the same time :D

The converyor has an electric motor. Is it 220-240 Volt? Do you need to be near an electric power sorce to run it, Or is one of the motor units a generator? Dandy Dave!

Conveyor is originally worked as a hydraulic motor. Machine the previous owner has modified the conveyor, and changed it to run an electric motor.
Build a new long conveyor, and I use to produce the same electric motor.
Conveyor to an electric motor for the need of electricity, but it's not a problem because the machine is not portable, but I use it all the time and place.
