hi i have a finger bar mower which is semi mounted and pto driven which is called a bamford major. which i think was built for the e27n ? i was thinking of selling any help on a price would be great fred :scratchhead:

Hi steamfred , old iorn is really only worth what someone is prepered to pay for it,
a rule of thumb find out what scrap value is , at the moment it is around £150 aton
this will vary on if scrapman is collecting or you are bring it in to yard, then add on
if there has been any work done on it paint ,parts etc, really old iorn is only of use to enthustists
or restores for nostailia and fun :) this will give you an idea . Regards Gerry

yes thanks for that,i wasnt thinking of scrapping or selling at scrap price. i am just getting short of room in the shed ,i haven"t seen to many like this anyway thanks very much fred
