Bar mower

Post by john.n »

I bought a bar mower about a year ago and have been using it this year. I have taken it to a couple of local shows and no one has seen anything like it.
It has a swedish makers plate on the side but also has a bamlett sticker accross the guard.
Has anyone ever seen, used or know anything about it?

Hi John,A neighbour of mine has one of them .I think it is called a Viking but I could be wrong .He bought it in the late Seventies or early Eighties.I remember every one noticed it because of the way the cutting arm sat during transport .I think it may have been bought at a local garage here.Hope this is of some help to you ,Liam.

It had been suggested that it may have been a prototype, but i guess not if there are a few out there.

bamlett equiptment is fairly common round here but no one locally seems to have an example of this model before.
