I just saw the most facinating trailer on Youtube and have no idea what it is. Could anyone explain the type and identify the brand of the trailer in this video?

I have never seen a trailer like this designed for a tractor in the US

There are a lot of truck trailers and trucks fitted with that system here. They are used for waste transport and scrap transport. They drop the boddy with you and then collect it when its full. There are some that use a chain and frame lift but our local scrap dealer has both types. The hook type is used for bigger loads.

Its a pity they left the tractor there for twenty years though before they thought about using that trailer. Though it does look like a Belarus I would like to see the finished restoration
