Ransomes Plough, what to do?

Post by Steven B »

I have 3 Ford Ransomes 3 EPJ ploughs, Ford equivelent of the TS59 three furrow.

One is restored and has digger bodies. Not much use but has all new shares, points and discs.

Second plough has had the front frame cut and a broken board. Has two good YL bodies.

Third is a good frame with a missing body but also has two good YL bodies.

I have enough parts to make another plough with YL bodies. So, what to do?

Option one, two furrow 12 inch, good for matches.

Option two, three furrow, keep it original.

Option three. Rob the third furrow frame of the plough with the cut frame. Convert the good frame to a 4 furrow 10 inch. I have enough bodies and discs. It will mean bending the add on frame but the plough can be converted back.
