Some of my holiday pictures from New Zealand - well some people look at landmarks, I look at tractors.

Hello TSG, the pictures are from South Island on the West Coast. There seems to be old tractors and lorries in abundance there, I`d want to bring them all home!

Dave, I should have had a better guess, the two buses should have given it away, the West Coast is the only place that a vehicle/bus would need a roof, and the picture of the DB 1212 and Bedford bus also has that West Coast look to it. Why were you there and do you have any more West Coast tractor pictures?TSG.

Dave,

At least the Nuffield owner was so nice to protects the front tires by lifting the front.
Is it all in the same place?
The one with the crane is that a Massey Harris?
Kind regards, Henk

TSG, yes the rain there has to be seen to be beleived. We were visiting family for 6 weeks, they share milk, and as I do relief milking here in the UK I sort of ended up milking and playing with grandchildren for a few weeks while they had some time off and caught up on odd jobs.I did have some more Nuffield pictures but they may have been left on the son`s computer.

Henk, they were all taken within a few Km without going off public roads. I did ask permission to take photographs where the tractors were well off the road but couldn`t contact all the owners so had to miss out on the opportunity. That is a Massey Harris, the owner has 3, one of them in regular use in his engineering yard moving engines and the like with a fore loader. He seemed suprised at my interest. The local garage owner told me he wouldn`t pay more than NZ $200 for an old tractor!
