Florida Sunshine.

Post by BearCreek Majors »

Granny and I are back home from our vacation in Florida, as usual we had a good time visiting with friends and family and enjoying the sunshine. We went down to the Flywheelers show by Avon Park for a day and could hardly walk by the time we got out of there. As usual I now wish I would have taken more pic’s especially sense Fords were the featured tractor this year. We saw a lot of nice equipment including one 1000 Series County, some nice orchard tractors and even a Fordson N on tracks.

I'm quite sure this is a Fairbanks Moris, I have never seen a horizontal stroke Diesel like this one.

A nice 841 Workmaster 4X4, note the LP, single wheel row crop Deer in the background.

Once in a while I see this style power steering ram over here.

Thought this Holt in armor was real neet.

When I first walked up to the Holt and started to look it over I thought it was a shame that it wasent fixed up with a pretty paint job, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it just the way it is. Just goes to show how well it has withstood the test of time as it is sneaking up on its 100th birthday.
