Bravo Isles of London.

Post by Dandy Dave »

Anyone else watch the opening show for the Olympics? Vantastic opening show from the Isles of London.  I really liked watching the Queen jumping from the the chopper and parrachuting in. Good Job Chaps. As I watched, I could not help but wonder which Industrial Revolution tower represented where our Beloved Fordsons came from? The representation of a James Watt steam engine was also cool. Good luck to the Atheletes and may the best among them win fair and square. 8) Dandy Dave!

Much like the games, The Fordson may have been born here in the States, But, with the production moved to Ireland, and then to England, and finally to Spain. These tractors may be more British than you may think. The tractors are even proud enough to have, "EnFo" cast in their parts and stamped in their wings. The tractors born in Britian were spread though out the world and even seeded feed, fodder, and helped grow healthy food that has fed the Atheletes now in London. Maybe our Fordsons have competed also in there own small way. :D

Now, The real Question is, can a Fordson Major out swim Michael Phelps? Dandy Dave!
