What's the WIKI?

Post by alang »

:help:
I tried to enter the 'Wiki' earlier but the 'Wiki' didn't let me in. I was just curious to find out what goes on in there - I guess I'm the only member who doesn't know what the 'Wiki' is.
Perhaps I was rejected because I don't have a baseball caps with the peak sown on the back, or prehensile texting thumbs.
Is there a tutorial, suitable for old f**ts like me, somewhere on the site?
Regards
Alan

Oscar,
That's where I failed before - just tried again without any luck. Thanks for trying.

Hi Alan,

I fail to understand what the problem is. You click that link, it asks you for a username and a password, both of which are mentioned in my post. You enter both words in the corresponding field, press ENTER and voila, you're in.

We need to password protect the Wiki to prevent malicious people from turning the Wiki into an X-rated site about 7 times each day. The password is a nuisance, but the alternative is worse.

Regards,
Oscar

Oscar,
The light has just come on
I didn't understand you were saying to literally use the username and password in your answer. I was using my login details.
Cheers
Alan
