"These Americans are crazy"
I disagree, to be" crazy" implys that some form of intelligence is required to do something unorthodox, but also potentially fatal. With respect to this obscene picture of a Ford 2N, they clearly fail to be "crazy", and that the word crazy should be replaced with the word "STUPID", in relation to the perpetrator of this particular crime.
Hey Swanndri, this fellow probably did this to rile some of his friends that are die hard Ford men. I'd say they all had a good laugh out of that one. We Americans like to pull pranks on our friends, although this was an expensive time consuming prank. I would have loved to have been there when he unveiled his project. I'd bet there was a lot of back slapping going on.
This most likely will in up in a museum somewhere, just to get a laugh.
You know laughter is the best medicine don't you? Goes down smooth and tickles the tummy.

Yes Mark I do see the funny side to this picture, but to see a Ford 2n painted in "lemon tree" colours when it could have been painted correctly would have been better. Or maybe you could look at it from a different point of view, the only way to get a good "john deere" is to get a Ford and paint it wrong! I had thought of painting a Zetor green and yellow, but apparently thats allready been done before! Don't get me wrong we Kiwi's appreciate a good joke.(Normally at the expense of our Aussie neighbours.)

And they think I'm cracked back here in the states for playing with an old Fordson...
Oh well, it is only paint and can be changed. Small wonder that it did not sell. I would say the price is about $4,500 too much. Fast way to de-value a fine old tractor.
My FPM was painted red when I got it. I asked the previous owner "why red?" and he said he always wanted a red tractor on his little horse farm.
Dandy Dave!

Have a Fordsonful day Folks!
