I had to visit my friend in Dereham on a quest for a front control chest for a Major, for Mike. Sorry Mike, he did not have one but we will keep looking.
What he did have however was TWO (yes TWO) DAR valve controls for a Dexta!!!!
So one is booked for Dotty when he works out a reasonable price. That means I can use the reversible plough we have in the nettles down the field!

I've got the rest-o-ride seat on my Dexta. I don't know whether it is any more comfy than a standard seat. I think the rubber must have hardened after 50 years
Your friend in Dereham must be a very good friend in deed if there is a possibility of a reasonable price for rocking horse excrement. Most of the time I find somthing like that I have to sell my only daughter into slavery to pay for it. Luckily I always seem to get her back though, she is too darn lazy to be any good to anyone else.
I've only just noticed your request for a photo of the Rest-O-Ride seat. I'll take one at the weekend if I remember, I have seen a few around, usually on Majors though.
I'm after a DAR for the Roadless as I believe they will fit the super major as well as the Dexta, I've got a spare auxiliary valve for a diesel/power major kicking about in the shed.
If you are after a DAR for the 000nd series don't be misled. It is not the same as a Super Major! The porting looks similar but it is not the same.
If you have a valve for the Power Major and want to sell it, Mike Kuscher is looking for one. Just send him a personal message incase he does not read this post. He is very busy at the moment.

Its a DAR for a super major Roadless I'm after, 000'nd series valves are more common but as you point out not really compatible (ive heard an adapter plate can be made up but not seen it myself)
Units are in my posesition and price paid! We are both happy!
Their were a couple being offered at a local show the other day at £150.00 each and the chap coud not sell them.
We used to say that people leave their brains at home when they get involved in auctions.
I once had a one season Claas Dominator 105 for sale for £11,000. It was like new. I had it on offer to a customer but could not close the deal.
A few days later I saw him at a sale pay £15,000 for a four year old Dominator 80. I asked him what was the difference that made this combine worth more than mine. He said,"Yours has been on fire, all the straw walkers and returns pan are black". It was then I told him that the 105 had Teflon coated walkers and pans.
