I though one of you guitar people would have commented by now on the death of the legend Les Paul.

His instruments were the sound of Rock and Roll and most popular music. They showed one of his inventions on the box last night, looked like a brick with frets and strings.

He was 94 and could still play fantastic music.

He will be sadly missed, but thanks to his passion for guitars, we will be able to hear his wonderful guitars for years to come.

Les Paul was a genius. In addition to being a fabulous player, he also invented multi-track recording and the Les Paul guitar! He will be missed, but we should be glad that he's been with us for 94 years. He was playing professionally in the 1930's......

Oscar,
That was a great read about Les Paul, so many stories and tales that he will never be forgotten for another 94 years.
Do you remember when he broke his ring finger on his left hand and when in the ER they told him that his finger would be stiff and always stay in one position, that's when he told them to set it in such a way that he could play his beloved guitars, and let it stay like that. Now that's a bonafide guitar player.
Great article Oscar, thanks.
