Hello all, trying to figure this picture thing out, I work with computers every day but believe working on my power major is less complicated than this.

Check the adres from those two picture by right clicking. Copy the adres between (img) and (/img) but use square hooks, than it will work.

I've just tried to copy one of Gerald's picture by opening it and copying "properties" as I would do normally. I get a long code, not like the code you have on the pictures that have appeared. What did you do different?

The picture won't show for me.

Note where the square brackets start and end, and lack of = sign.
Then it comes out as this:

I have tried the little pic on the forum first and now one of the pic in the album and it won't work.
Don't know why.

Wow thats big.

Open the album.
Click on the picture. It will open a new page.
Right click the pic and copy the propperties.
The pictures are to large for the forum.
Gman has to upload them smaller.

Got it!

I had to go to the picture from the thumbnail, if you try "properties" then you get the long code. I then clicked on that picture and opened it again, then went to "properties" and the normal shorter code comes up. Think the first picture includes the reducing code for thumbnails. That then prevents the upload.

Hope you don't mind us playing around Gerald, you need to reduce the size of your pictures a bit to make them fit in but that is a small problem. If you go to "edit" on either Henk or my post, you can see the picture code that works.

You probably already know this but your major doesn't have a super major back end and I don't think super majors had the decompression lever on the head either. If you check the casting numbers the guys here can tell you when the tracror was built.

I'm moving this one to the Miscellaneous Topics forum . Oh, and lads, you need to bring that photo size down - gives me vertigo .

Thanks, nice to see her pictures on here with everyones help. Yea she is a 11/1959 power major, as you can see she needs some work on the rust but I think for something 50 years old not to bad shape.

Again thanks to all for getting my pictures on here. As to the sizing, what is correct for this forum. I have a few of her working and would like to post. On the other forum,new major, asked about the correct color for the wings, grills and wheels. Are the ones on my power major grey because it is an import to US? Thanks to all.

640x480 is good. I expect you can resize them in imageshack (you can in photobucket)

On the new and power major the wings are bleu and the wheels orange. Export or not.
The grills are a subject we will not talk about anymore. We just joke about it.

Oops Found out in another post I had it all wrong about the coulors.

I like your front Bull bar Gman how is it attatched to the front of your tractor. I need to make something similar for mine as i smashed my grill lifting a big bale of hay the other day

Hi Tiger, it was attached when I bought her. I believe it is bolted to the front mounts of the tractor frame, I believe these holes are already treaded on the tractor but others on here will know better than me. It was straight, the bend is from pulling her out of the shed last summer when I started getting her back into running shape, not sure if I will straighten or not. I use her in the woods a lot so it does protect the grills and radiator.
