Hello, For the website of our club I am looking for some nice pictures from a tractor in the snow, as we dont have much snow here in the Netherlands (mostley) I am asking for some help, please send me some nice pics And I will put some on our website

Yes lots of snow but also work to do so no pic of the super in the snow, Maybe some time tomorrow or this weekend.

PS must wake her up first she is sleeping for the winter under some blankets

We have had only about 75mm here in Buckinghamshire UK and most of that melted during today as the sky has been bright and clear.

I am hoping for some more, round about the end of the year, to make our annual New Year's Day road run really memorable! If we do have a good amount, I'll try to post some pics, but my tractors are in retirement also and only get brought out for rallys and runs these days.

We got 20cm's here in the centre of Holland.

Here I have a pic from an implement from my neighbour in the snow


My Majors where still in the shed, to much at work plowing the snow one tractor made a shift of 42 hours with 3 drivers because 2 others got stuck in the snow

I took a picture of my Major today but it turned out to be too dark. Maybe the camera settings were wrong? I'm putting it here anyway although there's not much to look at. As you can see she is finally road legal now that the registration plate is finally installed. I was lucky enough to get the same number that it had originally. They hadn't given it to anyone in the meantime when it wasn't in use.

I'd say you need to switch off the flash on the camera. That funny white stuff refects the light back from the flash confusing the camera making it think its over exposed so it compensates by making it dark. An annoyance of digital cameras. Most come with an 'EV' function to manually over/under expose an image.

If you switch the flash of use a tripod or firm surface (unless you have steady hands).

Hope you dont mind but I took the liberty of 'photoshopping' you picture, some details get washed out but the background looks better. I used the free Pixlr software runs through your web browser http://pixlr.com/editor/

That makes perfect sense. I was wondering why the picture looked perfect in the viewfinder display but not anymore after I had took the picture. That funny white stuff was also falling from the sky at the time so perhaps that affected the flash too.

The photoshopped picture does look a bit better. I don't mind at all with you editing it. It lacked definition from the start so no amount of photoshopping will make it perfect, though.

I'll try again later. She deserves a better picture taken of her
