Christmas

Another year has passed and it is Christmas again! As usual we have only just started thinking about the celebrations. Ann has only just finished her school term and is already planning her work for next school year and I am soldering like mad in the workshop, trying to catch up on the 80 units that were ordered on December the 4th with delivery needed in early January. Six units are already on their way to Israel!
This year, I am looking back to the fun we had both in The Netherlands and with Dotty.
Our friends, who had never visited the country, are still talking about our trip and looking forward to returning next year. We will also be back at Meddo and I am trying to convince Ann that Dotty also needs a holiday. We shall have to see.
Is this the national bird of The Netherlands? We saw it everywhere.
Fishing boats at the National boat Museum.
The cheese market.
Giethorn.
The fritte shop.
Ploughing with Dotty, Mark and “My” Dexta at Brimfield.
The Guldners at Meddo.
The seals, walruses and dolphins at the Dolphinarium.
And of course
The apple cake and coffee!
May you all have a happy and peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Special thoughts go to Ross on his wedding day and hope that his Dexta sees sense and stops being silly. Alright, so she is a lady and probably jealous but it is getting beyond a joke!
And, yes, there will be another Christmas Story but it may be in the New Year

Merry Christmas to you all.
It's a bit strange for me at this moment, wishing you happy day’s, because my mother, who would be 90 years old on the 27 of December is very ill. I think she will pass away even this night or maybe tomorrow. She has surprised us a few times these last years making us believe it was here time and then recover again, but I think this time she can’t.
As Brian says the year has gone by fast. I must say I have enjoyed much. Writing with all of you on the board and some private. Meeting at Meddo and the time I have spent with Brian and Ann last September.
I also like the fact that many new members, readers and writers has join the board and some of them nearby my place. I did not have the change yet to meet Pedro an Renno but I'm sure we will.
I hope we will be able to continue this way of enjoying our bleu hobby and wish you good health and happiness for the next year.

And to you, too. If the weather dries up a bit between Christmas and New Year, I'm taking the Major for a trundle and blow the cobwebs away.

I did just that today. Driving in the snow was great fun but I almost got stuck at one point

Chains in the rear tyres would have helped...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the great people on this board, Oscar and Brian especially.
Regards, Frank.
P.S. No risk of snow and ice in this part of the world, it was 36C at 8:00 Pm last night and was probably close to 40C during the day. Thankfully it is not as hot now mid 20s at a guess, just right for a BBQ and a few ales.

Hi Grani,
I tried several online translators, and I can't seem to translate that to English, so I will have to guess.
Happy New Year, Grani and everyone else, too!
