Glad it wasn't any worse.

And what stunning scenery. Magnificent.

Good Grief Frans! He was lucky, the Christmas Angel must have been sitting on his shoulder!

In 1972 I drove up the Grossglockner in a Ford Cortina Mk 2, 1300cc with three people on board. It was all morning in second gear through banks of snow, but what a sight when we got to the top.

I am happy that he is alive. The accident looks very bad. This is a thing to remember when we drive our old ones. Think about the safety before it´s too late. :?

There is no roll bar on that tractor - fortunately a very lucky man. I wonder what the weight of that trailer was?
Take care and keep safe!

The preparation story was in the club magazine from the HMT.
This guy has been extremely lucky.
That's why I ordered a new brake cable.

At what time did he jump off? 20, 30, feet before impact? He is a very fortunate man to be alive.
It looks like to much weight on the trailer for the tractor pulling it.

Brian,
I believe the Christmas Angel flew off up into the air during this tractor run!

Reading the story in the club magazine, it tells he was thrown of when the tractor hit the tree with a speed of around 60 - 70 km/h and he landed against another tree.
The cause of it all was the brake of the wagon. The lever of the overrun brake was jumped in the disabled position. There was nothing left to do than going strait up on the road bend, ending up like this.
