Often when I use the "View posts since last visit" function it says, for example that: Search found 5 matches, but nothing appears. What is the reason for that? Other phpbb forums has not this problem.

Similarly the icon for each forum may turn yellow indicating new posts, but the search finds nothing?

Here's what you're supposed to see, Grani.

Or me!

Most of the time it does work correctly, occasionally the search shows no new posts, when there are some! As below:

I've just tried it - nine new posts but none listed. I wonder if clearing browser cookies may help.

I did that as the first thing, but with no result.

Grani,
This has been happening to me quite a lot lately. I just tried again this morning and it said it found 14 matches, but it didn't show them.

It worked for me, a few minutes ago. I don't know what's going on. Maybe Oscar knows what the problem is.

Was this ever sorted out?

I have a theory, if you have "Log me on automatically each visit" selected then it doesn't work correctly all the time, try logging out the log in again.

Just a thought
