I taped a show with lots of Fordsons and Fords on the RFD network. Was wondering if anyone was there. Some of the names listed was Mark Osborne, A. Rozzell and Alf Wells. It was great to watch. My girlfriend tapes some of my work with my power major and makes fun of me because I like to just listen to that great Fordson sound. There was a song, I believe Up and Over the Plough, and I told her look they even have a song that mentions my tractor. Anyway if you like to see old Fordsons you should try to see this.

i was at tracks it was a great weekend
we stayed in a shephards hut luckily the sun shone.
we had 2 fordson majors
1 6 cylinder major conversion
1 6 cylinder major with 42" wheel on ( does 36mph)
also took the dexta with us.
there was a big hill to work and my 6 cylinder major would lift both front wheels whilst pulling my cultivator up it. very scary.

Hello super6. Yea I saw the hill, looked as though even a Country was having a little trouble going up the hill. The soil sure looked rich, we have mostly red clay around here. I had never seen the Fordsons with the tracks. The commentary is hard to hear over the tractors but when I saw a power major made me want to go outside and give her a ride. Also know what you mean about the front wheels, I was pulling a large tree and my foot slipped off of clutch as I was starting to pull it, I make sure I don't wear slick shoes now.Where was this taking place?

Hello super6: I have the show taped on DVR. Do you get the RFD network or maybe RFD has a web site you can go to. They have a lot of shows. I believe they were selling DVD's of the whole weekend, I'll have to go back and look. I am sure to order was listed with a telephone # from your area. I'll let you know.
