My wife just returned from New Zealand last night, and all I got was a tractor magazine.
However it did have this picture in it.

Not your regular "tractor pull" tractor.

Dosent look like a genuine Doe. Any comments?

Wether it's an original one or not...it looks pretty impressive!

Don't think it is original either, the front engine looks wrong but cannot get enough detail. It would have been an early version and I can't see a lot of linkage.

Whatever it is, it was a big tractor in its time but compared to the Fendt behind it looks like a Dexta :D

Even the driver's hat looks too big.

You're right about it looking impressive. Dual wheels have such an impact on visual appearances.

If it's not original, to me, it dosent matter. It has to be functional and work, but still retain the Major appearance( bonnet, cowl etc)
My Major is far from original, but she works for her living, and doe's it very well.
Dual wheels are on my shopping list

The magazine was the consulation prize, cause what she said she would get, she did'nt get. The magazine was from a shop next door. She was too busy treating horses all week.
I know my wife, and when she's treating horses, nothing else matters

The photo is in the May 2010 Farm Trader Pg 16. NZ magazine. Story is about Tractor Pull NZ, sponsered by Origin Agroup farm machinery, so would therefore think that the "Doe" is in NZ

Kev,this picture looks like it was taken at the Egmont A&P show in 20/21 November 2009. Tractor is listed as a "Doe Triple D".If so ,maybe it might be at Mystery Creek next month? If it is,I'll try to get some better pictures. 8) TSG.

Its a replica

In "Rural News" 19 Oct 2010 on page 42, its has Dave Hunger's "Doe Dual Power" replica in Stratford Taranaki, as pictured in previous posts. He couldn't afford to buy one, so he built his own. TSG.
