Franz asked if I had any pictures of the 1960's so I went through the "family archive".
We did not take many pictures of work but here are a few plus some that may give you a bit of a smile.
My maternal grandfather. He died before I was born and was a miner. He was about 5'1".
Guess who!
My first girlfriend!
My fathers boss and his father in the late 1950's with a collection of ploughs in the back ground. This man was a very good friend, he taught me to drive and bought me a Field Marshall which I used to plough and cultivate in the school holidays.
My father and brother in the early 1960's. This was the standard dress of the day for work.
My father working in the garden.
The family car is Scotland about 1962. It was a 1954 Hillman Minx with a side valve engine.
The 1907 Renault shooting brake that was owned by the Leonard family who owned the first garage I worked in. The grey pickup to the right is "Jacks". Those who have read my early stories will perhaps remember him from them.
A Triumph Herald that went tree climbing! The driver lost it on a sharp right hand corner and went up a drive to a large house. Unfortunately the drive also curved and he left it. leapt a bank and finished up resting on the boot with the bonnet leaning against the trunk of a very large beech tree.
A Ford Anglia. The pride and joy of one of my fellow apprentices Derek. Colours were maroon and grey. Taken in 1962.

. They are very interesting I would like to see more of old fordsons in there day if you have some 
. They also reminded me that we Have an old picture up stairs. It's of my grandad/ his brother loading a trailer with hay or straw with pitch forks, Being towed by a fordson N. My what would of been my real grandmother is also driving the tractor (she passed before I was born). Maybe I will figure out posting that picture. Also i could put up some of the other fordson pictures we have from the good old days before the family changed to different colored machines as well .They should of stayed with blue
