Suppliers of aftermarket parts.

Post by Brian »

Chaps,

We find ourselves in a cleft stick! :D

As a policy, this site does not accept any advertising or linkage to ANY parts supply company.

Nor do we condone the supply of substandard replacement parts. We all suffer from this and get very frustrated when it occurs.

The problem we have is that if companies are named on the site and complaints made about them, we are duty bound to offer a right to reply to that company. Some companies work hard to sort problems whilst others do nothing. The first thing to be done is to make the company concerned aware of the problem and allow them to try and sort it out.

Whilst we sympathise with any problems you are having, and are quite happy to discuss them by e-mail or PM, could you please refrain from "naming and shaming" without notifying one of the site management team.

After all, we have to sort the matter out with the suppliers when accusations are made on our board and they come back to us.

It is also not a "gaging order", we do pass on all comments received to the companies concerned.

This post is not aimed at any individuals. It is a polite request to all. It is also subject to revision at any time.
