Looking at the added World on the home page, I wondered why when I look at it, it almost never shows the actual area that I am in but often hits all around neighboring towns. Once in a while it will show Craryville NY but not often. Dandy Dave!

LOL....

Well,.. the grass sure doesn't grow under my feet and the bills are all paid so no ones chasin me for money. Last time I looked it said I was in Spencertown. That's about 12 miles north of here. Must be a gremlin in the cyber space highway that keeps movin me. If I could only get em to stand still long enough I'd blast em with ol betsy, She's a 12 gage double barrel what ol pop use to use fer Vermit control.
Think I'll have another Rum and Coke.

Dave,
I'm not a computer guy, but here's why you keep moving. Your internet provider gives you a dynamic IP address, which means that the internet address that you post from keeps changing. I have posted from about 100 different addresses, since I've been on this BB, even though my ISP and email address have not changed. Revolver Maps (somehow) uses your IP address to tell what city you're in when you log on to this site. I've never seen my town show up on the little globe, but Montague is barely big enough to have a post office and a gas station.
Maybe if you drink more rum and Coke, you'll move less

How do you control the World?
On Firefox I only see left & up arrows, so I end up looking at a fast spinning South Pole - not many Fordsons there. I think they used Fergies but I'll not dwell on that!

I had a few rum and Cokes yesterday for Turkey Day. That's in celebration of when them renagade Pilgrims left Jolly Old England and took up company with the North American Injuns in a place called Plymouth Rock. I found this morning I moved again, to Nassau NY. That's about 30 miles north of here. Still in the same old house on the same patch of dirt, and on the same old computer though. Them bums can move me in cyber space all they want. I'm staying put.

Politicians,

Dicktaters,

and Evil Scientists

have been trying to that for years without a lot success. Something to do with human sprit I suppose. No matter how hard they try, they just can't keep a good man down.
And here on the Fordson tractor Pages we have control because we stand for what is good and right.

If I could only stop the world from moving me now that would be enough control for me.

Dave,
How in the world

can you see which red dot is you ? No way UK will zoom that much, maybe in prairie land it would be easier.
Also noticed that the World seems to work better in explorer than Firefox. Maybe ms has taken over the world?

When I look at the revolving world, I see all the little red dots, but my locator is a flashing white circle, with my location on.
That location is not my home location, but the location of my ISP server.
My location actually comes up as New South Wales, Australia, which is about 1500 kilometers away.

At least you're in the right country!
It didn't occur to me that I have 3 simultaneous locations, Ijzendijke, Overijssel (Keep in Touch with the Dutch) and Espoo (and the Fins too)
Who's location is furthest from their home.? Kev's at 1500kms?

Those are other people who are on the site at the same time you are, Ben. Either that, or you move even faster than Dave
I think Kev will win the farthest away contest. Mine comes up as Paradise (200 mi. away), Redding (100 mi. away), or somewhere in between

They moved me to Copake this morning. The town borders my town about 1/2 a mile away. The hub of Copake however is 5 miles away. There is a Clock in the center of the hub, and it is a war memorial for those who Served. I've been told that you can get anywhere in the world from there.
