Found this picture of me driving a David Brown 1210 back in November 1979.
This here is the very reason I failed my school exams.
This was actually our neighbours tractor and farm, as we had recently sold our farm. Our old farm can be seen in the background.
I know it's not a Ford or Fordson, but atleast the trailor is blue

Hi Kev,
Than's a nice looking tractor despite the colour, and 4WD too.
Is that Norfolk Is? Looks like nice country

Ben
That was back in New Zealand. What you would call 'rolling' country. Hilly and flatish.
It was a nice tractor. Tractor was brand spanking new in the photo too.

Great picture, Kev!
What are you harvesting? Did you fed this directly to the cattle, or was it saved for the winter?

In this case, it is heaped in a pile on the ground, usually covered and allowed to 'cook', for winter feeding.
This is my brother's contracting business, doing 'our' silage, in what I presume must be approx 1976.
Yes, that is me standing there bare chested
This is my grandfather doing his silage, before I was born. The Nuffield tractor was a 1954? model, and I was born in 1963, so must be sometime between 54 and 62.
He is picking his up with a buckrake.

Nice pictures Kev,
And at least there's some orange in it.
One of the first tractor I drove was a white/brown DB. Later on I drove a smaler red/yello DB.

We had a big concrete bunk Silo on the farm that we put Corn silage in and packed it down for winter feeding. I use to like to run the buldozer, or loader tractor to level and compact it. Dandy Dave!

I like the pictures, Kev. Do you have any more?
I have some pictures, somewhere, of me at about that age, but I was running bulldozers and loaders more than farm tractors.

Choice pictures Kev,I guess the background is Kakepuku, looks like its a couple of km down the road from where one of my cousin's used to contract milk about 15 years ago.I go that way quite often as I have family over the next mountain.

TSG.
