Paintwork preservation ideas

Post by shepp »

It would be interesting to hear of members differing ideas on paintwork preservation and the products and "witches brews" they use to preserve their old machines - obviously this needs to be something that will stop corrosion where paint has already disappeared whilst at the same time preserving remaining paintwork without damaging it and enabling the machine to be seen and used.

I agree with Dave, some good boiled Linseed Oil works as a rust preventive and it shines really well.
