jd 2030

Post by super6 »

does anyone have any experience with jd 2030 1975 model, or know for a good forum to discuss problems.
It appears to overheat after 2-3hours of use, i have removed rad and flush and cleaned fins, also new thermostat.
water pump has some play on pulley, only other i thing i cannot make out is when you pull stop button it stops instantly is this normal or is there something putting engine underload.
Thanks Brett

The only JDs that I have any experience with are logging equipment and my '47 B, so I won't be of much help.

Try the John Deere forum on Yesterday's Tractors. http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/

Drop a PM to our resident JD expert "DeereOllie", (he does not know he has been appointed as such yet) :run: He is a very nice man and I am sure he can find you some answers. He really took some "stick" when he visited me a few days ago but it was all in good heart.
