bad day at work

Post by super6 »

had a bit of an accident at work on tuesday, thought i would share accident so no one else has same injury.
i was trying to to get a chain back onto a pulley on a forklift, but the headfstock slipped off ledge and my thumb was dragged into pulley under the chain,
2 days later after surgery it is held together with wire and stitches.
so it looks like i will be out of action for 6 weeks, hopefully thumb will work ok, as i am not very good at being left handed.

Sorry to here that. These things happen in an instant and there is no second chance. Hope it all goes well and does not affect your typing.

Suppose this is out of order too!

If one could prevent accidents by telling it to another there would be no more accidents by now. Most of the time in a split second after you do something stupid you realise that it will go wrong. Many times we are all lucky and nothing happens. But now and then were out of luck.
Wish you all the best and hope your thump will grew as new.
Kind regards, Henk
