Looks like a little Spring Cleaning. Or a scammer with a lot of old photos. 20,000 pounds seems like a lot even for a tired roadless. Dandy Dave!

Think he's selling a large inherited collection - but I agree - his prices are very steep for what they are - maybe rare machines but they don't even work  but be nice to have a collection with all variances of tractors

a lot of these were at the Cheffins vintage sale at Sutton on Saturday. The Roadless 6/4 made around £15k, a Roadless Power Major with single speed Boughton winch made around £5.5k and a late Roadless blue/grey Super Major with pick up hitch made around £7k (all prices plus commission). All were runners but the 4cylinder machines needed some tlc, play in front axles, no V5/registration etc. Roadless 6/4 had seen some restoration at some point, ran well with good tyres. I seem to recall it did not have the correct blue/grey hydraulic top cover but an earlier blue/orange without drop control.
Didn't see what the Dexta made.

That was a lot less than the e-Bay asking prices. I guess they came down to earth a little. Thanks for the report. Dandy Dave!

If you check out www.cheffins.co.uk website you will see all the results posted from the sale. Not all the tractors sold, it looks like the Roadless 6/4 went back home.
