Ford to close its Australian Manufacturing Plants

Post by Brian »

Not really tractor related but Ford are to close all manufacturing in Australia by 2016 according to the BBC. They seem to be in worldwide decline as they have closed/closing all of the plants here in England. The management seem to only know one thing, closure.

Yes its the end of the line for the Falcon, but not unexpected. Leaves only Toyota and GM/ Holden, making cars in Australia And is the VF Commodore the last Aussie Holden? :eyes:

Do they really still make a Falcon? They haven't made any of those over here in the states for years. I liked the ones in the 60's the best.
Sorry to hear about the closure and all those people losing there jobs, that sucks!
