Hi,

What other forums might be helpful when restoring my -65 5000?

A bit cheeky that, since just about any problem with a 5000 will, at sometime, have been covered by this forum's members.
If you insist, try Googling. I found at least 5 sites covering 5000 questions.

True Chris but wagtail may not have yet explored all the info this forum and the website has to offer I know it took me a while to realise just how much there was and figure out how / where to find it

BTW We'll have to have a word before Marsham in case we can manage an eyeball

Still trying to reconcile it being the SHC's 40th anniversary rally as its late founder hadn't chucked his teddy out of the pram and stormed out of the NICE AGM until October 1974 when your correspondent was much younger, lighter, innocent (but only marginally less whiskery)

Several previous years exhibitors or visitors have told me how good the previous 'vanilla' rallies have been and this one, as a special, is expected to be even better

My problem is that those whom I might call on for rescue purposes should 'herself' throw a terminal roadside hissy fit will be exhibiting
