Thanks for posting, thats one of the better videos to come from tube , I've seen in a while . Tractor and the guys sound pretty good .
now with you saying about somebody from Fordson land, i wonder if the Bear creek crew ( Pat and Marc) can play a guitar or Banjo between them , and Get dueling Banjo's, from the film Deliverance , out of a 6 cyl major . My dad loves that tune when it's played right, and i have been known to listen to it when it pops up in the side bar on Tube once in a while .

Musical tractor owners with the right sort of idea & exhaust on the other hand, thats rocking horse dropping territory

Nope Robert.....not gona happen, there is musical talent in my family but I'm not one of them!

I'll probably never again be able to listen to a polka band without thinking of that video.

Probably not restricted to melodeonists but the term 'earworm' is used to describe this sort of effect where no matter how you try you just can't get it out of your head - short of a cordless drill & Forstner bit that is

I know a Corliss valved steam engine where the rhythm of the valvegear releasing catches engaging and releasing are just far enough off symetrical to do the same, unfortunately while I may be able to bang out a tune or two I'm not musical enough fit something suitable around the beat - unlike the One Cylinder Polka band

The tractor is a 1950s Landini l35. A 35 hp hot-bulb, made in Italy. It looks lovely, especially, I think, when compared to its german (or australian) counterparts, the lanz d8506 and the aus. k.l. bulldog.

I am trying to think how their porformance would look like when the tractor revs up, or that they used a single-cylinder tractor with a higher rpm, say, a field marshall..!?

Yup, Got me a young un to get me on You Tube. I have an old friend that wanted to hear me play this particular song as she will not be around much longer. She lives in New Mexico so I thought it would be best to post it so she could hear it all she wanted. Dandy Dave!
