Do not know whether I have posted this before and it is a bit scary because I remember doing a lot of the things shown when I was the school boy who spent more time on the farm than on my homework! :cry: :cry:

Pat, that is one of the jobs I used to get on both the hay field and the wheat and barley stubbles. I will say this quietly, with a HORSE :cry: :cry:

We later moved on to a tractor and the shafts for the horse were replaced with a pole for the drawbar. That was fine until the pin jarred out, the pole went up in the air and you were left lying on the stubble as the rake went over backwards!

No, Nobby was a black and white gelded stallion. He did have four leg drive though! :run:
