Yes, it has only the valve on the steering link, the cylinder is some where else. The Iveco engine seems a little lost in a Major.

To Grani,

Ford sold its european truck/lorry division in the 80's to Fiat, who enclosed it in the then newly formed Iveco group.

The Ford Cargo range was then a quite good product, which continued to be sold as Iveco. The technique was also still based on ford, even in later series.

What we can say is that some Fiat technology bases on Ford technology. And that this engine is more Ford than Iveco.
