Hey Oscar,
Did any of you all go to her concert in Amsterdam? I watched her concert yesterday on Direct TV, and it amazes me at the energy she has at 69, and her voice is still great.
What was the name of the arena she was in, and was it an enclosed arena or were they outdoors? It looks like 100,000 people were there.

Hello Mark,

I did not know she was around here.
It must of bin the Arena soccer stadion from Ajax. It has a roof that can open. I think your right about the number of people that were in there.
Two years ago I saw here ex mate, Ike. It was at the Nights of the Proms concert. He stood on the stage did not move and it looked like he was playing. There was a girl that was doing the Tina stuff. She was like Tina in here early ages. She could really sing. Ike didn't last long as he died last year.

This is her concert tour dates,

She's going to be all over Europe in the next coming weeks. This is supposed to be her last tour. I can remember her in the 60's, she doesn't act like she has lost to much energy.

I wasn't aware that she's touring again. To be honest, I'm not a fan of her music. It's impressive that she manages to fill up the Amsterdam Arena though, particularly if you consider that she's not had any new songs of late that made any kind of impact.

£110/ticket in London! Even if you don't like her music - takes you back a few years!

Hi guys,

The "Amsterdam Arena-stadium" is about 15 minutes WALK :) from my house (10 minutes drive by tractor :D ).
Every once and a while they have concerts over there, next to the twoweekly soccer matches.

Tina is not performing in Amsterdam this time, but in Arnhem (close to Germany). The stadiumis called the "Gelredome".

Rather save it and spend it on a ticket for the next time Willie Nelson tours! I am afraid Tina comes way down my list of "must see" artists.

We have a television channel that puts on evenings of the "greats" in the music business. I was very surprised to find I really enjoyed a kd Lang concert. We have also had a Nana Mouskouri evening (I have seen her live and she is very good) and a Roy Orbison evening. I never got the chance to see him live.

We have had Meatloaf singing locally in the last few months and from all accounts he was a big disappointment. As he has got older he has lost the voice so I am told. I still think "Bat out of Hell" is a great CD.

To this day, I can sing every single word from Paradise.... with conviction :D . It is indeed a very good album. His last album, BouH III, is also very good (though much more modern). I listen to it regularly. The guy is singing his a...., uh, backside off and he's got a sustantial a...., uh, backside  . But yes, live on stage he's lacking the power of the golden days.
