You were so close to the Admiral Michiel de Ruyter. We nearly walked underneeth his feet. That was the guy who did it.
The story is of course well known overhere.
I think it's a good thing a country also tells the bad things that happend in there hystory.
We have also a dark page. Slavery. The Dutch and also the ship owners at Middelburg sailed to Africa to catch the Afrikan people and then brought them to Amerika to sell them.
Also the people of Suriname at South America were treated this way.
It's only for a couple of years now that these story are told.
