Britains 1/32 Fordson

A question for the 'carpet farmers' out there...
I'm on the lookout for a Britains E1A to add to the worryingly large collection but does anyone know what the implement adaptor is for? At the time there were only the E1A and the 135, both with lift arms and a pin jaw, but the adaptor was only associated with the Major and nothing in the catalogues at the time seem to need it.
Any ideas?

Hi,

never had a E1A model when i was young, only the tw35 power farm range and the models from that era. I guess the adaptor is needed when you want to attach an implement on the drawbar, since the drawbar is really short.

I think you may be right, can't see what other use it may have.
