Ford Heritage Vault

Post by LesWaters »

I don't know whether or not this is common knowledge - if so apologies.

This week I got in touch with Ford UK's media people to try to find out whether they could connect me with somone in Ford who could tell me from a serial number what industry the Ford D6 engine in our Super Major had come from. They couldn't! But they did say, "Huge efforts have been made to make the company’s general archive available online (https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedi ... vault.html ). I've had a quick look at the Heritage Vault and there are at least some interesting brochures there. It may be worth a visit.

To see the relevant material they currently have go to this page https://fordheritagevault.com and type Fordson in the search box. They tell me they are adding new material all the time so I put in a plea for more UK material.
