Hi Everyone,

I might have a chance of getting a grey fergie that is sitting in a hedge at the moment and im not sure if she is a runner....

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a ball part figure of what she might be worth as she stands?

Looks to be in fair condition, but needs restoring

Impossible to put a number on it. It's an item that could fetch a wide variety of prices, from literally nothing to thousands of pounds. Just be sure to agree with yourself what you would be willing to pay for it, then offer half of that and see if you can get a deal out of it.

Good luck!

:yeah:
Just hope that the guy doesn't know Oscar and ask for advice. Oscar would say, "ask him to make and offer; double it and ad 10%!!!! "

Chris,

I agree with Oscar - also remember if you buy it from the hedge the owner has no selling costs. It's interesting to see the price of restored tractors and then work back. By the time you take off the cost of the work there is little left to buy it with.

Ebay has a few right now which is a kind of price barometer.

Cheers
Alan

PS. Will you be changing your signature? or painting it blue?

skateboss,

Is it a diesel, straight petrol or Petrol?Tvo as this will have an effect on the price.

I was at a farm auction recently where a diesel non-runner, although complete made £680.00 + Vat.

Another recent auction sold a Petrol/tvo non-runner , again complete for £260.00 followed by a diesel non-runner without front wheels and a cracked block for £260.00.

Some indication for you of what prices they make.

Regards,
