What can I say ? WOW !

OK, before anyone asks - the picture of me ...

1) Get a small Jpeg picture of yourself (in my case a caricature)
2) Go to www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/
3) Follow the three simple steps to load your picture and shrink its size to 80 pixels square.
4) Choose which of the 3 versions they offer that you like (less than 6Kb size)
5) Store it in a seperate new folder on your hard drive (eg. c:\avatar for oscars)
6) Log in to change your profile on this BBS
7) Scroll to the very bottom and select 'load from this computer'

Hey presto ! you now have an idea what I look like.

This is amazing. I was just reading the post about the troubles that were happening with the error messages earlier today and now we have a new board. Well done Oscar, and so quick too.

Regards, Frank. :D

Love what you've done to the place.
It'll take a while to get used to the new decor but change is as good as a holiday they reckon !!

You sure don't do things by halves Oscar. Congratulations. It will take while to get our heads around it all, but as usual it looks like a warm place to be.

Kind Regards.....Dom

One moment I was viewing the old board and when I refreshed it, ALL the lights were on! Since then I've been trying to register.
If anyone gets the message that there user name is already taken, email address is registered to another person etc., then LOOK /Check your email. You will get an email that you have to click on a link to activate your account. For a while, I thought I'd been BARRED!

I've always like the colours of the old board. This ain't bad either.

Regards to all,

Well done Oscar, what a difference this new site has made. It is very similar now to the other forums that I visit and i'm sure that there are an awful lot of new features to discover!

Best regards.

Oscar,

Thank you very much for your quick and excellent job. What would we do without you. :P

Glad to see so many people have all ready move to this place.

Is this still freeware or do you have to make any cost for the new board?
Kind regards, Henk

Gosh Oscar, the board looks great!! I'll bet Brian is going to be grumpy, he has lost his post record with over 2000 some posts.

Brian it won't be long until you are in a big lead, this makes 3 times I've had to start at zero.

Thanks Oscar and Mike for all the hard work you all have done so we can have a place to come an visit with each other.

Kind Regards
Mark

It's included with the services I buy from the hosting company. Not cheap, but worth it :).

Thanx for all the nice comments, guys. Hopefully we'll have an error-free site now.

New layout looks great, not that there was anything wrong with the other layout.
I have seen this style before on a USA tractor site. (can't remember which one)
Congratulations Oscar, on having more posts that Brian

Hello again from a rare poster who feels he knows so many of you. I have a feeling the Wiki could turn out to be useful but will it duplicate the search function I wonder. TKU Oscar.

Hello All,

Just found a little time to explore "our" new board. I feel this will be as nice as the old board was. Just have to get used to the little changes.

Oscar and Brian, please keep up the good work.
Best regards
