Kiper,

Again real beauty's.
Is the super six a selfmade major or a 1000 series?

Hi, no none of the tractor are mine, i have been looking but what do you get?
The photo of the 6 cylinder Fordson is built on a Super Major, i think. I did take the photo over 10 years ago.
I can see in the photo that it seem to have been fitted with a bar axle, is that right.

Great pictures!!

I have a question about the yellow Major with (Shawnee Poole?) tipping trailer.
Are both tanks for the air brakes? You ususally see only one tank.
Seems like the are compresors on both sides of the tractor? Am I correct?

Thank you, glad you like them.
One is for the air and the other is for the trailer oil.

Hi Kipper,

Thank you for the explanation.
Why didn't they use the regular hydraulics of the tractor? Being a industrial version, the tractor didn't had hydraulics?

The pump to tip the trailer is on the front of the crank, this could be down to it being a higher output than the one in the back end.
To tip the trailer could need more oil than there is in the back end.
I am only guessing as to why this is, i would think there are a few people on here that would now better than me.

Thank you for the explenation, Kipper!
I didn't know that trailer needs that much oil.
