Those mounts were extremely dangerous!!

. Here the problem on the fordsons is their "38" rims(it looks like the "38" rims were standard for fordsons in the Philippines), made the tractors lean slightly toward the front. The farmers managed to make a solution by modifying the tombstone so that they could put the front axle of a david brown tractor,two of the tractors fitted with that modification looked nice!!!!
But, the newest trends on ford 5000s around here are:
the external double-acting cylinder is directly connected to the DAR valve by means of a pair of extremely long hyd. hoses, and
the front axle of the 5000 is turned around and the a-frame is mounted exactly the same way as that. Except, of course that the plate was thicker that those in the picture . they do not use the original pin but they would use an EVEN LARGER PIN!!!
