Gardner powered E27n

Post by scarecrow »

Hello There
I recentiy saw a picture of an E 27n with a 5LW gardner shoehorned into it. I have an E27n with a high top gear & have access to
a gardner 6LXCT engine from an ERF .
I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidelines on how to pull this conversion off

Thank you

I have a 6 LW that I wanted to put into a major but the cost was going to be huge so abandoned it and fitted a 50kva alternator instead. This also gives the set up a useable second hand value. If you look on Facebook you may come cross a major with a 6 LW in it, done by a man in Yorkshire I believe. Your Gardner will be big bhp too!!

Hello Hazzard
i saw an E27N on something or other with a 5LW in & one with a 4LW as well
it was just an idea i was toying with but have let the 6LXCT go its probably
zooming round singapore harbour now in a junk, although the gardners i used to
run in 8 leggers did'nt do much zooming
