Power Major Selene

Check this one out guys. Looks to be almost a twin to mine but in a lot better shape than what I started with. I see it doesn’t have power steering but I was surprised mine wasn’t all that bad to “arm strong” before I scrounged up enough parts to put the power steering back on it. I also see it still has the factory tag on it, mine missing and not knowing any better I thought mine was a Roadless for quite some time before someone pointed out my mistake.
Someone is going to get a nice toy!

Are all Selenes that "uphill" The front end looks quite high.

Certainally looks tidy. Price is good too, at the moment. It will be interesting to see what the price goes to when it closes.

There was one advertised recently in New Zealand, with front blade and rear mounted winch, with chainsaws and petrol powered wood splitter(been used for firewood). He only wanted $7000 for the lot, but had trouble selling( I presume due to the massive forestry protection kit fitted)

John, yes the Selene & Roadless conversions do tend to run uphill. Mine has 7.50-24 on the front and is about 1 1/2" higher than norm. Roadless recommends a 9.00 - 24 except when using a loader or other heavy front attachments, then a 9.00 - 20 ten ply industrial tire is recommended which I think is the case with the e-bay Selene. Either one would have to get the front up another inch or two more yet. Why mine has the 7.50's is a mystery to me, as they are not mentioned in the Roadless manual and I have no Selene info, I would have to assume someone just put smaller tires on mine because that’s all they could get their hands on that day or they were just a little less expensive.
A few weeks ago I picked up a set of new 16.0–20’s on rims for $150.00 US, but I’m afraid even with 18.4-30’s on the back they are going to be to big.
