After some years of using my modified plate, with the intention of improving it with an integral spool valve and never getting around to it. I've decided to post the drawing warts and all for anyone to make a plate for themselves. Good luck with it.

The three point hitch arms on my FMD always leaked down immediately. We decided to take a chance and change the tower rather than trying to replace the seal. The guy at our local tractor wrecking yard does not have a real love for Majors – even though he has a pile of them. He wanted $150 for any tower and we came across this one on the remains of a Major.

I guess we picked a winner as the three point hitch stays up for days now with a load on it and we now have true double acting remotes on our FMD to boot.

Hi all, interested in the posts from simonj & the mods he's done to get his remote hydraulics going. The new cover plate on the pump looks good. My question is, is the location of the hd nipple significant? I want to get a hd motor running for a winch. Any help would be great appreciated. Tony
