Congrats! Good thing to save these legends from the dreaded export of 4-cylinder Fords.

Is that a County 7600 or Ford 7600. (either would be nice)

County 7600 Four, have to to a big job on the motor. Looks a little rough, but mainly paint needed. 70% on the tires.

Please post the leaflet, Pascal :) I have no pictures at this time. Picking it up after easter when most of the snow is gone... Its paid though :)

Make a separate thread of it, Frode. It would be very interesting to follow.

Topic has been split. Had already planned to split it earlier, but had to wait till I got home.

It's almost Eastern time...the time of Eastern eggs, Eastern bunnies...and Frode's County!

I do hope it's better weather with you in Scandinavia than over here. It's actually snowing a bit in Amsterdam. :eyes:
It seems like our Eastern is colder than our Christmas last year.... :scratchhead:

Please take your time with the pictures.

Happy Easter! Weather is good here, sun is shining and the snow is melting. A bit cold in the night, so everything freezes again. Had a look at the County yesterday, and I think it will be at least a month before I can get it. Have to get the truck quite close to pick ut up (its a non runner).

Cab is just brown in color, not rusted through. Panels are straight. Missing some glass. Hood and nose is straight. Will have to build a new engine. Have been outside without the head for a year. I dont know if I will get the complete engine in parts, at least I'm getting the manifold and turbo. Tractor as good tyres all around, double dual-acting aux valve, trailer brake, and the norwegian made protector for the nose.

Frode, looks like you got another fun project! I like the front grill guard, looks good and heavy. Hopefully all the running gear is in good shape.

Looks very good to me! I guess al the engine parts will be quite easy to obtain?

I hope the weather will be good the coming weeks, so you will be able to pick it up soon.

Hi Frode,

It's a pity, you have to wait so long.

I have recently bought the operator's manual and fitting instructions of the 4WD kit for the 7600-4.
Interested in a copy? 8)

Is the word "County" stamped on the front axle or the 4wd box?

No problem at all, Frode. I completely understand why you drive other tractors: to really appreciate the blue ones!

Yeah, on driving the non-blue tractors, you may find yourself driving a tractor with"extraordinary levels of dullness" :D
