Hi al,
l Iam new to the forum and have a question if any one can help.
I have a 1957 Major and need to short circuit the ignition,
there are 3 wires on the back of the ignition which do i short out to by pass the key?
Its a temp fix until she gets refurbed.

If You put together the red and the red with yellow stripe You get the same funktion as when you turn the key to on. Was this the thing You wanted? From the beguinning they have positive earth, but many owners change to negative earth when they change to alternators.
