I know this is waaaaaaaaay too late but............
Merry Xmas to you Stu and Dandy and to all the other Fordsonians on here from me........... the newbie Fordson Major owner.
I'd like to blame my late wishes on our sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow internet speed here down under but I've got to confess I've just not been near a computer since xmas until now.
Anyway, here's belated cheers,
Terry.

Supposed to be Broadband ADSL 2 here Pavel but I'm sure a piece of string stretched between two tin cans would be quicker means of communication than this so called " ADSL 2 "

Re: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I do not think I have ever known broad band so bad as it was over there on our last trip. We bought a new Telstra 4G connection and, even with that we had lots of time when we could not get a signal. Even in the city's it was poor but when we got to Mount Gambia, one had to stand under a certain tree in the garden to get a signal!
Other places we got a great signal on mobile phone and Internet but think it will have to be a satellite connection next time.

You are right Brian,
I've never travelled overseas but from what I have read , our broadband service here in Australia is in 3rd world country standards compared to the rest of the industrialised techno nations service standards.
Some good phone hotspots here and there but more coldspots than hot ones by a huge majority.
They are spending umpteen billions on a new National Braodband Network that's been taking years to get rolling already and it'll be old and obsolete by the time it's completely " switched on "
